Free Motor Legal is a free alternative to buying motor legal protection in the UK, and our app is there to help you should you be involved in an car accident. It is easy to forget to acquire some of the details you should obtain after an accident, like the registration number of the other car or the accident time.
Free Motor Legal is a subscription service which lasts for your lifetime, saving you at least £25 every year, and prevents you from having to buy a policy to cover your legal fees should you be involved in an accident. These are not necessary, but insurance companies have been happy to sell these policies for years. Can anyone subscribe?
Yes, so long as you are resident in England, Scotland or Wales. Registration is open to both private vehicle owners, both car and motorcycles, as well as commercial and fleet operators, such as taxis, driving instructors, HGV, bus and coach operators.
So is this legal expenses insurance?
No, there is no insurance involved when you subscribe. Subscribing takes seconds and requires only your name and contact details. There is a freephone telephone number to contact to avoid you having to claim from your own insurance policy, so you have no excess to pay.
Are you connected to any insurance companies?
No - we are a truly independent organisation. We have no relationship with any motor insurance companies and only use independent companies to assist our subscribers. We will never sell your details onto unconnected third party companies.
